Show us your first ever completed piece of stained glass.

Here is mine.  The cracks are from the fall that it took off the window.  It is made out of plane window glass that I got from a local window place for free to practice with.

LOL..well if this isn't a fun thread.  I still have my first SG piece..and probably the 2nd and 3rd also. But here tis.
A cute lil fishy if I do say so myself.  No eye though...
The wonderful gal that taught the Rec Department classes that I started out taking let us use her patterns and her scrap glass for our first projects.  She was a really terrific gal and had did a really great job teaching all of us Newbies what to do.  We actually were only supposed to have one 8 wk class, but all of us petitioned her to see if she could extend to another 8 wk session because we were having a blast.
If I remember correctly, not this project, but the next was my first stab at pattern making...I look back on it now and think of all the things I'd have done differently.  But I probably shouldn't do that..it was a learning experience.

Nice Alan!  It's really no more difficult to do lead, just a different process, why not learn it first!!  Nice panel!
