I got the saw out today and played. The boiled glass piece I tried was cut up into 1/8" strips. You can see in the profiles of the pieces that the glass was really moving...kind of cool!
There is a learning curve figuring out what the saw and I am capable of...LOL. Figuring out in advance what you want to end up with, and knowing what you can actually do with the saw would certainly help big time.
As usual, I'll have fun playing. The strips from the boiled glass I think will really make a future project pop. Not my fav color combination, but when held to the light it's really kind of cool as the only color you see against the light is the purple. It shows up as little multi shaped flecks of color.

I have no idea what I will do with the strips yet, was just playing with them...but it would be a cool border for something.

SO much potential for that. Looks really interesting. Can't wait to see what you figure out for it.
