Either would work for me. The thought of taking some classes as well as having a chance to meet you guys is a twofold win for me.

my sentiments exactly.  I might be leaning towards Corning a bit more tho, there are so many things to do there, aside from Corning.

Oh this really sounds interesting, but for me it's too far - thanks to an inner ear problem I can no longer fly, getting there by car - don't think so, taking a bus - really don't think so and taking the train - er - no thanks.

So unless something can be devised for us 'Westies' that can be done in a trip that is somewhere around 1800 miles round trip - I'm kinda out of luck.

I can drive to either place although Corning is much closer.  Both places sound good and just being able to meet everyone and take some classes would be great.

Here is one thing to consider.  If it is at Wheaton, the Atlantic City airport is very close for those who would be flying.  I am not sure of what airports are near Corning.

I liked Wheaton because there seemed to be so many different kinds of classes and at various skill levels.

Here are the links to both.

http://www.wheatonvillage.org/

http://www.cmog.org/

I have been to both and enjoyed both of them.  The museum at Corning is bigger, and the town center is great. Both had a fair number of interactive classes.  Wheaton is smaller and seemed less commercial.  I would not be suprised if, with a large enough group, Wheaton would be more able to work with us for classes and such.
