Umm.. yeah, did I ever mention I have commitment issues *lol.
Got busy with the mister being back home, we started a bunch of little house projects and my stuff got bumped, but he's out of town again so I finished up my mirror. I think this bugger was a challenge not just in reinforcing but in hanging too!! I only had one stud on that I could use in that area of the wall so I had to put a strip of 1x2 up, drilled that to the wall and then hung the glass off of the strip. But she's up and looking purdy *smiles*. I used a convex mirror for a little extra funkyness too  grin.

Amber, that came out beautifully.  What is the material around the mirror that look beaded?

Thanks Graham!!

Joan, I had a copper foil sheet that I cut and adhered to the mirror to make a border, then I tinned it and dropped a bunch of little beads of solder on it. It took some time because I hadn't done anything decorative with solder before so it was pretty new to the hands *lol. I made the little droplets and then every few inches I would go back to the little balls and reheat/melt them to make sure they stuck. I'm sure thier's an easy way but I was just sort of winging it as I went along *smiles*.

That is so unique. That solder must have taken so much patience. Nice job.
