Seeings as I can't use the grinder today, I am pulling out a project I started last year... got these cut and ground last year and decided I didn't like them so today I am going to foil them and play with embellishing them somehow... thinking wire and beads and maybe some decorative foil.

I didn't like them because they looked too plain... I think I might use some decorative scissors to do something with the foil but they are back on hold for at least today -- I have to play Mom today. Lou Ann

You could do foil overlays on them as well.

New Wave foil is easy to apply..and I'd think much easier to work with than trying to cut out foil with decorative scissors. Would make a nice look too. Good luck, they're cute. De

Or................another thought. If you had some copper foil and stamping punches you could punch out whatever shape you chose and inlay it on....

Knew I should have bought those punches at the yard sale last summer!!! It's amazing the non-glass tools that could come in handy if you just think out of the box.
Toni is resting so I am going to change and go to the glass area and work with these -- somehow!!!

I managed to get foil on one of the eggs today and I started playing with beads on another... I will foil the beaded one before I do anything with the wire but I was afraid if I foiled first I would tear it up while sizing the wire and playing with different options
If I go the beaded route, I will put another small strand on the bottom blue stripe and bend the wire on the middle so it hangs right after I get one side soldered, can't seem to get it to lay right without anything holding it... (got interrupted before I got it all layed out)

What patience you must have to cut out the foil with fancy scissors! It has a cool effect, so it's worth it!
What size foil are you using to be able to cut it out with scissors that have differently shaped blades?
The beads are really cute! I bet you could add little glass seed beads to them, too. They'd add a little bit of extra sparkle without adding too much bulk; might work well if you do a copper wire zig-zag on an egg!

I'm using 1/4" and I'm only putting it about half way on the grounded edge then I am going back all the way around with 7/32" (overlapping a little bit on the 1/4") -- cutting it really hasn't been bad because I'm only doing 3-4" at a time. I only had 3 pairs of scissors upstairs yesterday so I want to look through Toni's set today to see if she has any that might look cool...
