This is a going to primarily be painted piece. I'm not sure how I am going to tackle it yet to get the effect I want..I have a few thoughts about it, but nothing set in stone. If all turns out well, it will be a wooded scene of a stand of trees with a misty/foggy background. Most of what will be visible are tree trunks with some brush in the front that has a touch of fall color. I applied a small amount of fine home made frit to add a bit of color to the foreground, and used an amber glass so I can get some good golden highlights of grasses. I chose a very pale pink for the sky. I'm hoping it will end up with a very slight pinkish blush to the fog like the morning sun trying to burn through the mist. If it doesn't come out that way, that's OK too..grayish white works for me as well. It measures 10x12 and hopefully will have a border placed around it...it it gets that far..it might be a flop...LOL

It may not turn out exactly as you envision - but I doubt it will be a flop!  Have fun!

I didn't work on it today, as I was tied up with the other one and some more pendants.
