but I had to use up some more of those tempered chunks!! This one I fused flat (I had a blinding headache for awhile!) then slumped into a shallow oval bowl mold.  I'm not totally thrilled with it but it's kind of a fun bowl!

Really like the chunkiness and texture of these items.   Nice, Becki.

So, can you add a flower or something? Not advertising Armstrong glass but as said, I am not a fan of this look.

Becki, I agree that the fun in using float, or this stuff, is just to see if you can do it. But I found you can control the frosting a bit by spraying a layer of ......... can't remember the name right now, but it is anti divit from fuse master. Then the blue glass and seams look much nicer. This has potencial as a ECO friendly item to interest the ECO minded recycler who comes to a bazaar table.  I sell lots of float snow flakes for that reason.

Thanks for your comments, guys.

Y, it's interesting to play with but it's not everyone's taste.  Heck, it's not even mine! I'll continue to play with it til it's gone and move on.  I'll not add anything to this because it's just not worth the time I would have to put into it.

This piece does not have bloom or devit....I fired all the pieces texture side down and avoided both.  It's perfectly clear.  the seams are smooth and there are no sharp edges.

Not something I want either, Di!  That’s why it and the other bowl are going to the contractors that Joe was working with as a “tongue in cheek” momento of a pita project...that has finally ended successfully, I might add!  They look much better filled with candy!

I have to say that I appreciate all the comments, especially from those of you that weren’t bashful about expressing that these pieces weren’t to your liking.  I don’t have a problem with that.  Nobody likes everything all of the time.  That’s what feedback is all about!  We’d all like to hear that our work is wonderful all the time but if we’re going to be true to ourselves and what we do we have to take the good with the bad...otherwise why put it out there and ask for feedback?   I'd much rather put it out there and hear the truth than to have someone blow smoke................

Thanks all!

Hear! Hear!   Feedback is always good - even if it's negative!   Customers are more honest - only they comment with their cash!   Far better to get honest opinions before you rush out and make a zillion items that no-one really likes! (often including yourself, but you make them because others seem to like them.....)

I like these to..for some reason, they remind me of a large glass bowl I had years and years ago...I'm sure it got broken long ago, but it was a fav of mine and I'm sure I was heartbroken.

I think that they are very cool.  I hope you make more of them Becki.

Thanks, De.  I've put it away for now but I still have lots of it to play with later.
