Just ordered a new kiln!

It should be here in 2-3 weeks! Paragon Pearl 22 with fiber top option.

droooll@!! What an awesome kiln!! I love the clam shells, and I've never heard of that kind of top but is it ever smart, plus the size and shape is perfect. I'll be keeping my ears open to see how you like it, I may look at getting another kiln after the holidays and I want something between what I have now and what your getting so the reviews will be eagerly awaited *smiles*.
Enjoy and can't wait to see the goodies you post with your new friend :).

Thanks!!

Yes, I am most excited.

Kev, I have a smaller kiln 13" round shelf.

Amber, from what I've read, with the fiber top I don't have to worry about brick dust/crumbs falling on my pieces during fusing.

Yes I do!!!!!! And I love, love it! It is cooling right now. I hate it when it is 30 degrees on the way down. The suspense kills me.

I too bought the fiber top. I am SOOOOO glad I spent the extra for it. My Paragon Fusion 7 has a brick top so I know about dusting. This is dust free! The fiber top on line looked flat, but the one that arrived was cut into like a brick top. They look the same.

I had a bad computer when it arrived so far north. Paragon sent me a new one and told us how to install it. If you have any trouble PM me and I will help you get a hold of the right help.

You are going to love it. It is easy to peek in on without getting cooked. It is high enough for big molds and potmelts. It has a large enough shelf to do anything I will ever want to try and I can usually do 4 at a time , or more, of a project.

I only have one complaint. The 13" I could load in a day. The 20" square shelf can take a week or more to load depending on how detailed the work is. But the opening is definitely like Christmas :)
