Update: You guys were right! I did my (only) Christmas Fair for this year on Saturday - and the Nativity whirl was gone before lunch time - with someone else whining that they were coming to get it when the other client took it... I eventually marked it it R640.00.
Overall my market went much better than I'd expected, as I felt I did'nt really have the best selection of stock that I could have had. I was however ,very pleased with my sales, which were a little up on last year. It was, however, extremely hot in the hall on the day, but I suppose that's just the luck of the draw! It could have been rainy and windy - which would have discouraged more people than the heat!
Another good thing was that I met a lady who has moved to East London this year and has set up a studio - and selling supplies and glass! This is a huge plus for me, as shipping stuff in is very pricey. No need to ask where some of my takings went.......
