Finally finished the little Tree Frog guy..I designed this awhile ago for the lady that teaches Bella (my dog) and I Dog Agility.  The name of her farm is..."Tree Frog Farm".  I took two pics as the texture of some of the glass used didn't show up well in the unlit or ambient light shot.   It has 90 pieces and is 18 x 13" in diameter, and framed with lead.

LOL, I definitely took my time getting this done, so here 'tis.

Beautiful!   Love the ring mottle you've used for his body,  it's very realistic.

Thanks everyone.  Originally I liked the green ring mottle for the body, but then, after it was finished..I wondered if he didn't fade a little too much into the background.  Now that I've seen it in a window I'm ok with it...but turns out that the giftee...lol...named her farm after a "Gray" Tree Frog.  Fortunately she's seen this and likes it...thankfully.

He's boo'tiful!
A tree frog was on my do list. I got 'Frog Song' and was spoilt for choice, now it's on the bucket list! I like that glass, it's perfect for a Southern Leopard Frog.

Neat tree frog.
Just a little fiddling about with the design, he could be playing a guitar or banjo.
I can just hear Burl Ives - "Froggy went a courtin', he did ride! Mmmm hmmm"

Graham it was posted to me on facebook...the whole song was. Tried to get Nancy to sing it to me but she offerred up Denise to sing it to me since I've never heard it before. I settled for someone on utube singing it.

I think it was the first "HIT" song my kids were ever into. They loved it.

I'm sure that kids today would never imagine that a song like that was
ever at or near the top of the "Hit Parade". Is there still a "Hit Parade"?
I keep hearing that something is No. 1, but I never heard of it, or the "artist"
that performs it.

There must be something going on, I heard it in England a few weeks ago.
Think it was something to do with the frogs making a comeback from a fungal virus that wiped them out in  the western home counties.
