Each of the pieces are beautiful and so well done.
I recognize the artist of most of them, but not all of them. Is there a way of putting the artists names on the piece?

I can't do it without having the lettering into the actual artwork..that was why I have not been placing them there...but I'll play with it and see what I can do.

As much as I like them, they make the topics column narrow and harder to read on my smaller laptop. I liked them when they were horizontal. Would it be less work to link them to the member's gallery?

thanks Kev. Even with these old lady eyes, the lettering is good. That was fast too.

I personally love the pics going down the side. It removes some visual congestion at the top and gives the members something to glance at while scrolling down the page.
The pics used in the banner are not all from members galleries. Some I get from the actual topics posted. Some of us, including myself, are not real good about updating our galleries so I go hunting for pics. For members reading the posts, these pics will not be new to them, and to those that have not read all the topics, when they do, they will see them in the context in which they were posted, so linking them would not be effective.

This is cool! Kev! Must say that I 'see' them better on the side. Reminds us what a diverse bunch we are with many talents and abilities.

I have to say that I love seeing the work that the members have completed, and I think that running it down the side like that makes a great deal of sense (I also must admit that I don't go to the galleries to check out new work, no time, and I guess I don't think of it.) But this is just great!
There's some seriously good stuff showing up here!! Nice!
