Very nice! - and love the glass you've used for the shoes. Do you perhaps know the number/code? I've had pieces and offcuts of that over the years, but never with a code on it and it's one of my favorite glasses!

I enjoy using that glass as well. Beth, the code is Wissmach 197 NLL-G. It's discribled as a blue, green, clear streaky coloured glass with a granite texture.

Beth, I'm glad Nansea knows what kind of Wissmach I used. I go down to the factory and pick the glass from the scrap bins. I get half sheets sometimes or smaller. I never think to ask about the type of glass. If it's pretty , I buy it and then figure out what make later! Thanks all.

Thanks for the info Nancy! Have made a note of that so that I can ask for it by code! When I took my glass classes I think my teacher got some in what we called 'rack packs'? - possibly an assorted sample box. For some reason one of the students called it 'peppermint crisp' glass - and the name has stuck for me!!

Yes they're Rack Packs. Each case holds 80 sheets of one foot squares of assorted glasses. Usually, they might have some small flaws, but they're great because of the selection. I offer them to my students because they're economical to start out with, plus building up their own glass library. Pretty shoes!

Cute! What woman doesn't love shoes! My granddaughter will have to see this, she's the Imelda Marcos of the house! Come to think about it..maybe that would be a good idea for a panel for her room...better get designing.
I too, love the Wissmach glass you used in your shoes!
