Here are a few of the pieces finished. I'm still back logged on the smaller plates, but the additional 2 molds I ordered should to be here today, so that should speed things up.
I'm really loving this set!
I have noticed as I have been doing these, that the irid initially after the first firing though nice, looks like a metallic saran wrap on the glass with it's slight wrinkles. After the second firing, it is much nicer, as it develops a softer less sheet-like look it.

So...are you gonna open your own gallery? I'm thinking you must have so many beautiful things in your workshop by now, that you could probably keep yourself stocked for quite a while. I'd have to buy both the persimmon set and maybe that last ginko leaf set..Wow!

To be honest, I am working on getting together enough pieces I feel good about to actually take to a gallery. We are our own worst critics, and I want to feel confident in the pieces I take, in that they are able to stand neck to neck with other people's work.
The persimmon set seems to be making a bit of a buzz with the people I have shown it to so far, and it might have a buyer very soon. It's great getting feedback from here and from people in person, as it lets me see what people like. t The maple leaf multi colored set I believe ! will donate for a local charity auction that will be held in the spring. If not that one, then I will make another set for it.
