Here are more sets in progress.
The gold Ginkgo leaves are going on a set of eggplant/black. I made the eggplant color by layering violet transparent over lilac opal.
The blue spirals will go on an Amazon green/black set.
The trees will go on a lilac/black set. (I have lots of lilac and need to use it for something...lol)

Kev -- these are going to be so cool!!!! I especially love the ginko and the tree. Did you sandblast the design and then use some gold paint, or are they cut from copper foil using a stencil for your pattern????? Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, did you use a glass saw very carefully???????? It's hard for me to tell from the pictures -- however you did them -- you've got a winner here!

They are just pieces of iridized black glass that I placed a stencil on and sandblasted off the remainder leaving either the iridized background with a black silhouette for the design, or the design with a black background. What looks grey now will be black when fused.

Me too! I have more glass ordered, so when it comes in I'll get them all cut and start fusing them. Some sets will have 6 plates with the large plate, and some will have 4.

very nice, the leaf is my fav. The gray is gonna be black you said? I like the gray area, it gives the appearance of being contemporary flair.

I kind of like it too Joan, but once it's fired, it will go back to glossy black.

I cut out a few more sets today. When all is said and done I will probably end up with 5 sets..some 5 piece and some 7 piece. (eggplant/black, persimmon/black, lilac/black, almond/black, fall mix/black).
I'm still playing with the icons as to what will go with what set (kind of fun), and I have more to blast yet (maple leaves, pumpkins, and philodendron leaves). Still waiting for the persimmon to come in.

It will take some time to fuse and slump all these pieces.
