I sold all the daisy's I'd made last time around and had to make more (Thanks Kev!). These are a bit different cause I'm really tired of the opal glass that has no pizzaz so I used non-compatible glass for these.  I know that's a no no but all the petals on each one are from the same sheet of glass so I know I'm ok there. The only part that could give me issues is the 'dot' in the centre.  I don't see any halos nor any clear spots( Stephen's hints) so I'm hoping I'm going to be ok on these.  I like to push my luck! The two on the right are done with Spec Wispy and the left ones are Spec 6067.83. I like how they came out. The one on the bottom left has that green sparkly glass - can't remember the name of it - in the centre, it's quite attractive!

I'm glueing them to plastic coated wire (Home Depot - buy either the peony cages or the 36" long things that have a circle/crook at the top). And I use gorilla glue - orange box - the one that dries white 2x faster, it's waterproof.  It really foams up so you have to clean it up really well while it's still setting. It's really strong!

I glue to the same wire thingys Anne does and I use glass, metal and more glue from Michael's and unless they get left in the car in a TN heat, they are fine...

These are adorable!  Absolutely wonderful ........   but I would not be in a hurry to sell many of these, knowing that they may want to self destruct from the center button.

What if you made them just like this but used the same glass in the center too. Then put paint on the center and sponge it to make a  textured pattern and fire the paint. Then you would have the world of glass to choose from and know that the whole flower was compatible.   ... It's just an idea.

A good idea Judy! Being as I have the paint I SHOULD use it!

I've done a bit of this firing non compatible to itself and have found if I stick to a contour fuse I'm not (to this point, fingers crossed) getting any devit.
