Hi Spirit Rider,  Welcome

On behalf of the AOG team, we would like to extend a warm welcome and we are glad you decided to join our forum. If you need any assistance, please feel free to ask any member, we are more than happy to assist you.

To ensure our membership roster is up to date with active members, and as per the membership agreement, please be aware that inactive members that have been absent from the forum for 180 days will automatically have their membership removed.

Out of curiosity, how did you hear of us and ultimately find us and could you please let us know what type or types of glass (Cold/Warm/Hot) you enjoy doing?

One thing more - the only stupid question is the one that does not get asked.

Enjoy!

Hi Everyone,
After 16 years of running a dog boarding kennel, I am shifting my life path to persue my passions. I have my degree from art school in sculpture, but while I was attending school and for some years after I worked in a glass studio. I have been re-entering the glass field over the last couple years and now am ready to take another leap of faith. I am educated in the stained glass field and have learned much of my fused glass education from books and the internet. I also took glass blowing in art school.I value good craftsmanship and love a challenge and learning new technical processes. I  will be teaching some classes to supplement my gallery work, and have the advantage of being a source of supplies for people for quite some distance around. Our community will have its annual studio tour in 3 weeks and that will be the grand opening of my gallery and studio and then a week after I will start teaching. This month will be incredibly busy as I pull all this together, but thrilling too!
