Hi moose113,  Welcome

On behalf of the AOG team, we would like to extend a warm welcome and we are glad you decided to join our forum. If you need any assistance, please feel free to ask any member, we are more than happy to assist you.

To ensure our membership roster is up to date with active members, and as per the membership agreement, please be aware that inactive members that have been absent from the forum for 180 days will automatically have their membership removed.

Out of curiosity, how did you hear of us and ultimately find us and could you please let us know what type or types of glass (Cold/Warm/Hot) you enjoy doing?

One thing more - the only stupid question is the one that does not get asked.

Enjoy!

Hi Everyone,

Just getting back into stained glass after a hiatus of a few years.  I've been doing glass off and on since 1996.  I've been searching online for glass forums, just to get back into the swing of things.

Welcome Moose! Enjoy exploring the site. We'd love to see photos of your work. Are you interested primarily in stained glass, or do you work with other forms also?

Thanks everyone!

I have done both stained glass and mosaics (stepping stones, plant pots).  Mainly I work in the copper foil technique, but have done some lead panels.  I'd like to get into some fusing and beading, but haven't had a chance to take any courses in that yet.

I just finished a panel which will be auctioned off for newf rescue in Ontario later this month.  I've got 2 newfoundland dogs and will probably doing lots of panels with newfs as the subject.

I've just downloaded glasseye and have started fiddling around and designing.

edited to add that the design of the panel is by Martha at Paned Expressions Studio.
