Hi everyone,
It seems from past experience, that many members really enjoy seeing projects progress from start to finish with pictures showing it's progression along the way. We thought it might be nice to add a board for that specific purpose. Members beginning a project can post pics from the beginning of their project, and update with additional pics as they move along with it. There seems to be something to learn from each project, and a great chance to ask questions along the way. We hope you join in and share your talent and skill with all of us.

Sounds good! I remember on SGF watching one fellow with his mosaic buck and it's really cool watching the progess as he went along!!

 I could see how this might be expensive!!! The tool is actually going to be very INEXPENSIVE, it's putting the tool to use that is going to be EXPEN$IVE!!! |

I just got done looking at the threads in this topic. I have to say I really enjoyed seeing the different pics of the progress people were making. This is a great thread!

Glad you like it CnZsMom. It is fun to see the progress people make, and even the goof ups. It's a good way for visual learners to get a better understanding of what processes are put into place in creating a certain project.

Ditto!!! Just (nearly) finished a project and thought - 'now why did'nt I take pics along the way?" Well, because I never thought of it till right now!! Duh!!  p.s. NO SPACE to post a notice on my work table! |

I love doing a start to finish on my projects. There's different ways of doing this but my personal favourite is to show and explain each step all at once to show the whole story, like a pictorial/tutorial in a book.

How come you know how to say Yar in the right context and all. Swedish or Dutch forebears?
Here evrybody says Ja. said the same way Afrikaans for yes but way more expressive. Like in "Ja well no Fine" Thats when somebody burns their fingers doing something you just knew was going to come out all wrong.

No Swedish, but do have Norwegian (my maternal grandfather) mixed in with all of the Irish/Scottish and French heritage my family managed to marry into lo the many years past. Actually my grandfather had a lot of interesting methods of speech that I probably inherited by spending so much time with him. He was quite a guy, over 6' tall, very rangy and outdoorsy, a huge sense of humor and could sing like an angel, also with a whole family history of going to the sea and bringing in big catches of fish matey! So no doubt some of my more interesting manner of speech could be attributed to him. He was my hero.
