I have 4 pieces that I slumped and three came out perfect and the forth had a deeper mold and it didnt slump to the bottom. Now that piece dosent have a flat bottom and rocks. Can I put it back in and reslump without a problem and does this mold need more time being a bit deeper?

PS I forgot to mention that this piece was adventurine blue  and all the others were not.

Just slump it again.... because it is deeper it will need longer for the glass to reach the bottom. Is it a single layer or 2? A double layer will drop faster because of the weight.

Adventurine ...isn't that plastic?...LMAO

If you don't have a window, you might have to peek in to see if it's taken on the shape of the bottom of the mold.

Once in a while I have that happen and sometimes I like the rounded bottom and put clear rubber feet on it, and leave the bottom shiny and round.

I have also glued glass glob feet with E6000. But if you get the feet off a little, you have to clean up the glue after it dries and you adjust the feet right.

I place 3 feet. Get eye level with the top edge and spin the bowl slowly. This will show you where you are high and you can adjust one foot to correct the problem.

Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.

Di, Slumping multiple molds works best when the molds are approximately the same size and depth.  As you found out some molds just need more time. Keep the deeper mold for a solitary firing or of you have another similar mold to fire with it. That way you can avoid an extra firing or having to glue feet.

Thanks Becki I thought that might have been the problem too. I do have 2 of the same mold and have them in together...keeping an eye on it and fingers crossed.
