....seems to attract like a bear to honey?  Well I bought one, it was lurking at the back of a shelf in a box at the thrift store. The box was essential to contain the unfinished Pre-cut project, the skirt was not built so I figured for 2 bucks I would get my moneys worth on the unused lead alone. Sorting it out resulted in a pile of neatly cut 'edging tiles' of blue and green hammered Spectum the chain and a gizmo hook thing, some coiled lead and a tangled mess of soldered 2" bits of lead.
Peach bevels have been languishing in boxes I bought a long time ago, the glass is a discontinued Armstrong bought on a whim from their clearance shelves. I knew it would match the bevels and the left over Baroque I had used for a lampshade, you might notice the amazing likeness to left over panels from a second lamp that never materialized.
To be longwinded, a few weeks ago I took my niece on a 'Likkor run' to one of those little towns that grew on a railway line by a distillery. It's still there, now a day out from the city 'to that little place full of quaint and unique shops selling crafts, antiques and collectibles. Well, Old Geezers had a Buttons and Bows dish for a couple of bucks. Like I needed another plate, anyway, this time I didn't add it to the stack of 'pretty dishes'.
I had to scratch through my old pile of scrap lead to circle the saucer the rest is all from the lamp
It's halfway there, I'm ready to solder and putty. I calling it Revived & Recycled.

I love your recycled lamp, that sure is a beautiful panel.  Reminds me of my grandma's pink depression glass set.  Very pretty.

Now, I, on the other hand was gifted with this hideous green and white lamp, missing the vase cap, which would have been the only valuable part of it, if you ask me.  I am at a total loss as to what to do with it.  I guess I could take it apart..but that seems to much like work.  Anyone with any good ideas out there.  I should take a pic of the thing..it's been hanging around the shop for awhile.  I cringe whenever anyone asks me if I made it.  Ugggh.

LOL Y, I'm not sure that there's enough glass here to cut apart and use for anything, but maybe.

I'd almost forgotten about this...until I went upstairs to take a quick pic of the Coonley window..but here it is in all of it's glory ~NOT~.

Not sure what I'm going to do with it, if anything, but I sure am bothered by the people that come into the shop and ask me..did you make this?  ughh.

I suppose it could be worse, but pale green and white would not be my selections for colors in a lamp...so if anyone has any ideas that suddenly pop into their heads..would LOVE to hear them. LOL

LOL, it looks as if it will take a suicidal leap off the shelf any second and save you the trouble!
Pull it apart and put it out of its misery!

Nancy could improve it a lot. A layer of cedar shakes would do wonders.

How about using that as a base for glass on glass mosaics..you could really spruce it up, and the colors it has now are quite neutral to begin with.

Actually you might have something there:)
The other day, some one came by and asked me what was I going to do when all the shingling was done on my house. I said I was going to shingle my truck next!
