Is this the color chart you have Evelyn? I like the idea that the ribbon colour can be changed to honor the benifit.

Not sure on the color ribbon for either cause - law enforcement and abused women and children - still looking at the color chart for ribbons.

Here is my version of Evelyns ribbon.  I took it to our local cancer center today, they chose not to auction it, but to place it in the lobby where people can see it, and pick up my business cards to order it directly from me.  Then the proceeds are going to be shared with them.  If there is as big of a response as they expect I will be a busy guy for some time.  I may have to hire and train my daughter to help!

I hung it in the window backwards!    duhhhhh!  But it looked really great, and thanks Evelyn, they were very happy with it..... they said they dont have a gift shop, and people are always asking them if they have any small gift items they can give their loved ones.  They also told me that along with breast cancer, the other 3 cancers they treat most are colon, prostate, and lung cancers, and they would like to see some items for those as well.

So along with the angel ribbons, i will probably have to come up with some other ideas,,,maybe some heart type ribbons or something.  If anyone has an idea or pattern to share with me, it will be put to good use.  Thanks in advance.

good job Tom.  The ribbon is a symbol for all the kinds of things so maybe you could just give a look at the list Alan posted and do different colored angels for the other cancers.  That way you life would be a bit easier.

I actually found another site with the ribbon colors: http://www.personalizedcause.com/shop/collections/classic/index.html - I did not know that there were so many.... jaw drop

Tom,
Your angel turned out beautiful and I hope you get lots and lots of orders.  If you need more wings and can't get them from Warner, please let me know - I ordered 300 pairs of each of the wings, so I can spare some if you have a need.
If you look at the different charts on the ribbon colors, as you can see, some of them represent many many causes.  I plan on taking orders or other ribbon colors or making a sample for each color - we'll have to see.
Glad your angel was a hit!

Alan,
this is the chart that I was looking at for ribbon colors - many, many, many meanings for each ribbon

Thanks for all the nice comments, but all of the credit should be given to Evelyn.  I am just stealing this from her.
