The last 5 years, the first Saturday in May has been my best fair and it took place at Toni's school... well, this year I never thought to ask early if they were still having the event and found myself scrambling the beginning of March when I found out the fair would not include vendor booths this year... I managed to find another fair but because of my late application I ended up on a waiting list. Just learned tonight that someone cancelled and I have an inside booth on May 1st!!!
Thankfully I have been working as if I already had a slot so I should be ready.

That is good news for you LouAnn. I wish you a bunch of luck with the show. Have you ever heard anything about how this other show works out for the vendors? It is tough knowing which shows will be good when it is a new show to you.
I just got invited to a show to celebrate 84 years of Pontiac, funny thing they won't be making them anymore. Anyway this show is at a big hotel in my area and it is a fundraiser. I am a little nervous about doing it cause it is new one in this area, but the fundraiser is for "Alex's Lemonade Stand" and the Tomorrow Fund, both that raise money for the cure for childhood cancer. The event is in September (the 17th thru the 19th).

I don't know a lot about this fair other than this is their 7th year and the first time they have had to run a waiting list for their vendors so that in and of itself says a lot for me... they have over 50 vendors inside 2 buildings and I'm not sure of the outside number (they have a huge parking lot set aside for them). I had been told about it more than once by other vendors but because of the scheduling conflict with Toni's school fair, I never pursued it...
I'm hoping the fact that it is a week before Mother's Day will make it successful.

I'm really looking forward to being at this show... with the economy I don't have real high expectations, just wanting to get my foot in the door in another fair that seems to have some longevity

Just so happened this fair was a day of torrential rain that led to the massive flood that hit Middle TN in early May.
