Well Im beginning to feel a little more comfortable with the kiln, but still a learning process. My DIL wanted this picture to go with the bedding in the babys room and when see showed it to me I seen a cool fused piece. So I thought I would give it a try. Well I am pretty happy with how it turned out so far.The piece measures 8 x 11. I plan on putting a glass frame matt around it and it will be put in a wood frame. Still not sure what color glass as the frame is a dark brown. Any ideas.. the final piece will be 11 x 14

First pic is the orig pic the next is before fuse and the last is after.

Di, this is lovely! Could you maybe pick up another color in the room to accent it for the frame?

great job Di.  I don't think I would add another color though.  Anne's suggestion of picking one of the colors in the piece would be the best way to go I think.

Wow, this looks great. I don't think you need to add any other color, what you have there is perfect.

Thanks everyone I appreciate the kind words. I was thinking of using a red since the room will be painted yellow/gold and the furniture is dark, but I will play a bit and see what works or maybe I will let them decide but they dont know I'm doing this and wanted it to be a surprise.

I really like this Di, what a terrific job you did with it.  As far as the colors surrounding it I think I'd pick the red and stain the frame the same color as the wood frame the fabric is in?

Great job!  De
