Well I took another lead glass class and here are the results.  For being a little bit color blind, I am actually pretty happy with the results.  Hope you enjoy, but please feel free to criticize so I can learn from my mistakes.  Thanks

For only the second lead class I think it looks great. Much better than my second one.

I think it looks really nice Tom.  Can you put it in a window and give us a daylight pic?

I agree. Pop it in a window so we can see some light shining through. Looks great and you did a nice job on the soldering those joints:)

very nice job indeed Tom.  I love the pink of the flower pedals.  You did a great job on the joints and your border looks good and straight too.

Nice job, Tom.  I especially like the shading on the center flower pieces and the leaves.  Good choice of glass for these pieces :)

Very pretty Tom love the colors as well. This was the first panel my SIL did and always admire it in her kitchen window. Lets see yours in a window as well.

I took the class to make a leaded panel for my oldest son as a wedding gift in October, but I am not real happy with this one as a gift for them.  I do have a pattern that I really like so will make it and see how it goes, and if that isnt good enough I will make another and another and so on....I do have a little time till October.

I really dont have any place special for this one.  There are several things I can do with it.... give to my sister who may not really have a place to hang it, or to my daughter who may have a place to hang it, but where her wild dogs would tear it down and break it, or to my other son's girlfriend, or my daughter could give it to her mom for mothers day, or maybe I might hang it in my own window until I make something I like better.

Heck if I knew how much trouble there was in making this kind of decision.  what to do with it!     Smack

That bevel is so pretty. Look at it for a while before you decide what to do with it. You may grow to really like it. (I would forget about the one with the wild dogs, LOL)
