Here's the latest project.  Its one of my favorite patterns and this time I converted to a 22 inch round.  I used Bulleye001700 0031 for the tree.  This is the glass I picked up last year when I visited my daughter in Portland and shopped at Bulleye.  It has silver running through the glass.  The tree is AR 2450 and the sky is clear baroque.  I haven't decided what patina to put on the piece.  In certain light the silver looks gold, so I thought maybe copper.  I still have to put hangers on, clean, patina, clean, and wax.

The original pattern is 25 x 28.  I put my bevels together first, then laid them on top of the pattern and moved the circle around until I found the area I liked.  Then I traced the inside of the bevels on the pattern.

Then I took the pattern, placed it on the light box and placed my green glass on top of that and moved the glass around until I got the silver design movement that I wanted.  Marked the glass and it was off to the cutter, grinder and in some instances the saw.

I did the same with the baroque to capture the movement, and then repeated the above steps.

Here's the panel in the process of being constructed.  The pattern is from Allen Kenoyer.

I like it a lot Evelyn!  The glass is really neat and I like the surround bevels!  Cool!  You've been one busy lady!

Thanks Di,
I applied for a two day show the first weekend in October.  I'm thinking positive that I will be selected for the juried section of this fair.  I'll find out in August if I have been selected.  So, trying to think positively, I plan to take five large panels (just to bring the people in) and lots and lots of smaller items.  In the meantime the large panels will all be at The Glass Gallery on consignment and, this is the last of the five panels.  According to the application brochure, this craft show (Fall Festival) brings in over 70,000 visitors each year.
Since these panels are done, I'll be moving on to the smaller (in size and price) pieces.  And, I'm always open to suggestions for items to make, so any and all suggestions are welcome.

I like the silver flash across this one, and the circular setting.

this is really interesting, and I've never seen that green glass before,  Thanks Evelyn!

Wow, sounds like a great show hope you get in - 70,000, holy smoke, a huge crowd! You'll need lots of inventory for a crowd like that, I hope they give you lots of lead time on ACCEPTANCE!

Thanks Yvonne and Anne, and I won't find out until August about the show.  But I need to make lots of things beginning now, again, thinking positively, for that show.

What a great opportunity to show off your creations! You have a keen eye for colour and design. I really like the abstract look of this piece you're working on and the movement you've created with the glass. Good idea of having some larger pieces to draw the eye over to your display.

We're all be pulling for you that you get into that show! Thumbs Up 3

I have no doubt that you will be chosen for the show..get crackin' girl!  I often take some larger panels, although most usually the smaller stuff sells, but I take the larger ones in the hopes that someone could see an opportunity to commemorate something that they are fond of, or just want a really neat piece of art.  And it's worked for me in the past!

Can't wait to hear that they selected you!!

Thank you Mich - I sent this picture to Lisa Allen, the designer of the pattern and she asked if she could post it on her website.  Said yes of course.
I finished the panel with a copper patina.
