The fish and tiny squares are Beths and just to prove that float glass can be made to look pretty. I don't think my artist client is going to be happy with the way the red stringer turned out. Kiln Gremlins

It looks like the red stringer came out nice in that salad plate.
What did the kiln gremlins do to the other red stringers? Alter the colour?

Thanks everybody The client is having large ceramic rings made and these discs, after they have been slumped into shallow bowls are going to be suspended inside the rings and then the whole caboodle is going to be a mural. The red stringers were actually a postbox red and they darkened somewhat in the firing.  Ian |

These are looking great Ian! I don't think that the red stringer that turned maroonish would bother me in the least if I were the artist..so here's hoping he/she is ok with that. It's going to be a magnificent project, I'm very interested in what this will all look like put together!
