Not as much as I would like.  I have been dealing with neck pain for the last 3 weeks.  Got the MRI last night.  It is probably a herniated disk in my neck which is causing left shoulder and left arm pain and weakness.  We'll see what the MRI shows.  It is feeling a little better, but still not up to par.

I am paying for all those stupid moments when I was younger.

Very pretty earrings, scooch.  The eye is kind of cool in a creepy, twisty, evil kind of way!  Nice work!  smiley

I love the glass that is in the earrings.  It is made by Double Helix and is a reducing glass.  Kind of expensive but makes some cool effects.

The MRI worked out fine.  All I had to do was lay there.   grin  Now I just need the results.

Like the beads very much and the "Eye" pendant is kinda cool too!  LOL..I think I'm a bit more traditional in my pendants..but what the hey!

I'm sorry to hear about your herniated disks..I hope the MRI gave the Dr's some good insights into what's going on.

There were a couple of sage bits I heard recently that sorta fit..(I too have back issues, disks flopping about here and there..dratted horses anyway..) One was:  "If I'd known I was going to live this long I'd have taken better care of myself".  and "Getting Old ain't for Sissies".  (Pardon the slang..).  Truisms...ugh.

I hope your neck feels better soon!

Love both pieces. Great job. Sorry you are in pain. I know waiting for the results can be harder than the tests. Let us know how it turns out.

Reducing glass is a glass that changes in appearance when it is hit with a reducing flame.  A reducing flame is a flame that is low in oxygen.  I am not sure of the chemistry of how it works, I only know that it does.  The glass contains silver and that is what affects the appearance.

Here is a link to the company that makes the glass that I am currently using.

That is very interesting - and beautiful!   Thanks for the link and information, Scooch.
I have yet to venture further than using scrap glass in the torch.   'Treated' myself to a 'beginners mix' of moretti rods a while ago,  but have yet to try my hand with them.   At this point the garage (where the torch is ) is just too hot to work in!

Hope your test reveal something simpler than a herniated disc!   Been there - it was pressing on the sciatic nerve - and it was'nt pleasant!!!
