Well...here is my latest gog window.  I loved the way the tree and the frog came out....I love frogs anyway.  It's not one of my favorites, it just didn't come out exactly how I envisioned it.  I took the picture on a cloudy day, it looks a lot better in more light.  I do like the way that the back turned out, no grout bleed at all.  YEAH!  Woo-Hoo

Oh Meaco, this is great, and yes I really like how the frog came out too.  Kev is right, you do have a knack for this! There's so much happening in the whole window but it's so well put together. Really classy.

The frog is cute, but I love the way you did the sunflower. Your stuff always looks great. Makes me want to try one. Maybe someday.

Now THAT'S what I call patience!!   Love it, Meaco - and yes,  specially the frog!   Also like the shading/texture in the tree trunk.   Kev's right - you got the knack to turn mozaic into something extrordinary.

Thanks for all you compliments...  Small flowers  The funny thing about the tree was that I did the different colors because I didn't have enough of the dark glass.  Once I held it in the light I realized that it turned out better with the mix of the two.  I want to do a window with the center being a full tree with all the curls on the branches..think that will be pretty cool.   I forgot to mention that the frog's eyes are a flat back glass marble cut in half...never did that before but it turned out to be pretty easy to do.

Meaco,  mind me asking how you cut a marble/nugget in half?   I've tried and can't get it right.

Beth...I just did it really carefully with the wheeled tile nippers.  It ended up working out good. :)

Meaco, this window is outstanding..what a beautiful job you've done!  Love the frog, love the sunflowers and the tree is just great!  Sometimes it's interesting what we come up with out of a shortage of materials on hand!

I'd say you did a fabulous job!

Thanks for sharing, Meaco - will try that.   I've always tried with a glass cutter.  Tile nippers make more sense!!

I love this window!  Thumbs Up

The flow of the tree is perfect and the frog takes center stage. But then the flow of the tree makes your eye continue to dance around the piece. For me the purple flowers are a happy accident because their color stops you from flowing off the picture. My eye starts at the frog and is quickly brought down to the base of the tree by the branches lines and the red flower. The pink plant then sends you back up the tree to the frog. Excellent design, and joyful quality!

I love the milli on the red flower . Bravo!
