Bah.. Flux ain't Flux

This is a good informative topic, but now I come cap in hand and walking on broken glass.
When I switched on the Weller today it wouldn't heat up, went back to the Inland, same thing.... changed outlets, whoopee, cooking with gas.... .... I throw my hat in the door.
I got to try the dilututed mix and it's working for me and tho' I still don't like the Gel it it not as bad as I portrayed it to be!   So it's back to Soldermate asap for me.
