I've decided to try and do 2 at once, since one is a gift. I thought I could start it today, but the glass I thought I had, I don't, so I have to wait till after the holidays when the glass shop opens again. They both measure 14 x 20 and will be fused and painted.

Can't wait to see how you do these.... and I'm glad I've finally rubbed off on you and you're going to venture into the realm of multiple projects at once

I'm with you LA! Doing multiples cuts down in overall time. That's such a drag Kev that you don't have everything to start! I am so looking forward to watching this panel come together, you really do excel at this type of glass.

For some reason, I thought I had a full sheet of clear glass...nope! I also do not have enough of the blue I want to use either...so.... shopping I must do.

Of course the design is just a basis for the placement of the elements.

I ordered my glass for these panels today. I have decided to use pale amber as the base glass, with steel blue, sky blue, light blue and gray frit for the water. The eagle will be in dark amber as a starting point. Painted detail will be applied throughout the panel. The amber will add a nice warmth to it.
