Here's a place for folks to show some of their fusing plaid/stripe work ideas.

These are some that I've done so far.

These next 2 photos were made from the scraps left over from the plaid plates.

Here is one I slumped last night. The center orange sections is some Bullseye striker glass.

Giggle I'm in fusin' mode:) It's the most I've ever played with the kiln and I think just I dove in feet first. There's other fusing folks who have waaaay more experience than what I've been playing with.
I'm really hoping it will help to inspire and show others how much fun they are to make. I really like how a colour changes when they're overlaped with another contrast.

Thanks for your suggestion to post this thread by the way.  Frosty

These are so wonderful. You are inspiring me. I will begin playing with color again soon. Right now I am set up  to do float glass bowls from old glass and want to mass produce them for the future. I am getting board with them but want to finish before I scrape the shelf and vacuum liner up. Color is next.

Nancy, this plaid technique would really make a sharp looking picture frame.

Great idea about the home deco Joan:) This fusing thing has kept me away from the rest of my glass work. shocked Sure is fun:) I have a few more things to get out of my fusin' system and then back to foiling for a bit.

Ok, Nancy....after a bathroom remodel, shopping, parties, and Christmas I'm ready to get back in the studio and play!  I have a box of strips from other projects and I'm working on another plaid!  It's still in the planning stages so if I can quit moving strips around and make up my mind  rolleyes you should see it in a couple of days!  grin
