I've had a query about coloring etched glass. Does anyone know if one can do that, and if so how?

Try those glassline crayons, or you can use colormagic paints that don't require firing.

I colored gluechip Angel wings with silver RubnBuff and it looked fine, also used the copper. Can't give you any info on the longevity tho'. All the colors have a pearled finish.

Once, when I was in Thailand (sounds like I go there all the time - right? Wrong.) I bought some little bird pictures, etched in bevels and airbrushed. They were really pretty little things - ovals about 5" wife X 8"high.

Anne, over the last year my main interest "had" been in sandblasting. During my research into doing that I ran across Butch Young's website. She is a master at sandcarving. She also has made several videos about her craft, and among those videos are 2 that might be of interest. In one she teaches how she applies gold leafing to her etched / carved glass, and the other where she paints to color her glass. Here is her link to the videos, you will have to scroll down to see them. http://www.thesandwitch.com/videos_dvds.htmlHope this helps.

Yes you do. Go ahead. Make fun of the handicapped. I didn't mean to make fun of the handicapped. I thought I was nitpicking the nitpicker. Rebecca
