Doozy of a storm happening, seems it's everywhere right now. Hubby is stuck at an airport but at least he's not in the air :). Anyways, just got news that the next town over has lost power already and the storm wasn't on my mind when I loaded the kiln this afternoon, wondering what happens to my stuff if/when the power does go off?? I've got four 5" round/2layer items and four pendants in right now, temp is at 1250 and climbing and I can loose power anytime through the night. If nothing has broke in the night can I refire and everything will be o.k.?? I'm pretty curious about what happens if I loose the anneal process...

Result depends a lot on the kind of kiln you have and how it cools without power.

You can re-anneal by taking it slowly back up to ca. 50C above annealing point, soaking for half an hour and then doing your standard anneal.
