Well I am starting a new piece which I will be making several different versions from. The book "the ultimate pattern book has a series of girly panels that I will be making into mirrors. Really cute little accents for a frilly girly type. Don't want to post the pattern as I am not sure I can or not, don't want the pattern cops coming after me or the site. LOL
I think they will make some wonderful birthday gifts for that sweet little one.
PS, I am gonna email the copyright owner to see if they will allow me to post the pattern seeing as how I am listing the book

Thanks Barbara, but, well this one is already gone. I hadn't decided on the dress color, well it is gonna be pink. A friend of mine had adopted her neice and the neice recently turned 16. Her fav colors are black and pink. So pink it will be lol

help, please!!!!
please look at the picture to the upper right side. What glass and color if any (color) would you stick into that piece. I makes the hair look funny, so I didn't like that. Didn't think black would be right either or it may make the frame look wonky. Being the only spot that could be left open, didn't appear to me either. In the mean time I am gonna start foiling it.
So please what do you guys think. Thanks

Use the same color as the hair.

I see it as background, so it's like the two pieces in the lower part

I, also, see the lower pieces as shoulders, so the upper piece would be hair, (or else background, but you don't want more of the black coming down that far and I wouldn't introduce a new color.)

There's the difference in how we see it. I don't see the black as background, but as border

Graham, I saw the rounded pieces as border also. The black at the section that I saw as a v necked part of the dress I wanted as black trim for the dress with the pink representing the balance of the dress. The only piece I saw as background rather than hair, (as everyone has suggested make as hair) is the piece I was speaking of. I have gone with everyones suggestion as I really didn't want to intoduce more color either.
The woman that did the pattern book has this pattern done as a squarish panel using all clear textured glass, with bevels framing the square, which is really stricking too.
