I do these in pairs (but when the error message came up I figured I would do this picture)

I bought the votive cups online.  I wrap wire around the bottom just as high as the thickness of the layed glass.  It works well as the holder in the center of the leaves.

The one with the red looks like a poinsettia.  I like them.

They are really pretty Joan, I like the votives too, they look like crystal.  Those should go over well at holiday shows.

the problem we have here Judy is that we go from 50's and 60's to the 30's with wind.  The body hasn't had chance to adjust.  30's with wind, might as well be below zero.  The location of the place I am going on the 5th, has high wind all the time, even when no other places are having it.  Don't understand it but it is high on a hill over a large lake.  The lake actually has white caps on it most of the year.

That does sound cold, and damp to boot. Wear a snow cap to cover the ears. It always makes the wind more tollerable for me if my ears are covered. We too live in the wind zone at the base of the mountain range. Good luck

 the leaves.

This thread reminded me of times long gone by. We used to do the "One Of A Kind" show in Toronto. We carried our usual line of stuff, but of course a show in November means lots of Christmas stuff.

We had a number of items that required holly leaves. Below is how we made them, by the boat-load - or maybe it was by the sled load.

when I do the holly/poinsettia leaves, I dig into my scrap glass bins and cut the sizes the glass pieces dictate at the time.  But that diagram is great Graham.  Because I don't like spending alot of time at the grinder I break my curves out too
