I didn't see any sunny beach ones. That's what I am thinking about!
Ask and ye shall receive - how about these?
Beach Beach Beach They are all at the end of the [more] section

Ha, ha, ha The first two make me think of stingrays buried in the sand. I tangled with one of those once that left me in a cast for months. Eeeeeek

Now the third one looks fun but I like my smilie guys with a little more beef to them. This one has no butt, or body for that matter.

Sorry I have taken so long getting back with the sketch. Chasing myself busy right now!

I think I want to do my faces with almost no line work, all matts.

OH, Judy, you are so talented, I wish I could do that.   As much as I draw, I have never had the ability to do sketchs of a face as real as that.  She is just so adorable.

What a talent!  The sketch is beautiful!  I know nothing about painting...but hope to learn one of these days.  I love the shadow box too and I'm sure that MaryRita's mom is going to be sooooo pleased with it.

What a lovely project Judy!

Thanks girls.

The key to drawing is , Start doing it! And look carefully at how the light hits each part of the picture.

" Just Do It"  :afro:

Don't get too attached to the drawing, be willing to erase and start over on a small part, even if you worked on that section for hours. In time you will have drawn so many mouths or eyes that you will understand the structure and it will be much easier. Everyone on this board has a good eye for color, design, and details. I believe everyone of you could become very good at drawing but you have to get past the fear of the blank page and "Just do it"

Rebecca said she could not draw and after several months of drawing daily she found she loved it and was doing awesome work.

Sharpen your pencil and draw the basic shape of something while you are eating breakfast. The next day draw the shadows on the piece. The next day work on the highlighted areas. Before you know it, Ooooooooh Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!

Start with an egg sitting on white paper. It will give you great shadows and highlights to study. Then try it from another angle. Enjoy!
