A friend has an Odyssey chestnut lamp form and pattern he wants to get rid of.  I have always wanted to make the chestnut lamp.  But I don't have time or money.  I am really trying to resist...

The shade requires the use of the cast (zinc not bronze) crown which add a few bucks.  They are cute shades though...

'Bec is the original "Ugly-Lamp Lady" (the hyphen is there to ensure that the adjective is applied to the lamps and not the lady - she ain't ugly at all) and this lamp ain't ugly enough for her attention. That's how she's able to resist.
