I borrowed a library book on a whim about quilt blocks and borders.
There are 750 geometric designs in the book I checked out written by Jinny Beyer.
Great inspiration, plus it has a slide out acetate page with grids that I scanned.

You might want to see what books are available from your local library.

There are a lot of free patterns from the Quilters Guild on the web. Great way of using up bevels!
