but I just finished cutting 2 fan lamps! The same pattern that Gretchen just posted...by Spectrum. I did 2 matching ones and plan on using the wood bases I got from LouAnn to try out. With the colors I am doing those bases will look awesome!
So....I quit for the night but this weekend (maybe even tomorrow) I'll get them ground at least. I will have to stop glassing after these two though, I think I'll be out of solder by then :(

Those cords with nitelite are in all the stores right now for the Christmas Villages. I get mine at the Dollar tree, I don't mind having a white cord!

Me too, the brown combination reminds me of New Zealand Maori art. But then again, my desk lamp is root Beer and Amber!
Malinda, are you going to be happy with the window to the bulb? No criticism intended but it's something I would want to avoid. Just my tuppence worth.

Very well done!!!

Is the area in front of the bulb an opaque offwhite or was this picture taken before you switched from the clear?

I really like to color combination and I've not used cord glass in any of my lights so I'll be curious to see how it looks lit up.

Looks great Malinda, Im liking this pattern more and more. And like the star looks great in any color combination.

I've done it in a turquoise blue swirl with white accents as well as in peach with orange and white accents and they both were very well received. When I first saw this pattern I hated it but I think it is because of the colors Spectrum did it in but  after doing the first one, it quickly became one of my favorites. I've also done it as long strips without the small yellow row in Malinda's and another without the squares at the top...

LA I changed the bottom center piece after you mentioned that problem to me and what you see here is a offwhite opaque. I have no idea how it will look with the light up to it BUT of it's not all that see through these will just become fan shaped suncatchers OR I have another idea....we'll see what's necessary.....
