I took 2 photos, the only difference is in the positioning of the
small amber and dark brown petal shaped pieces in the middle.
In one photo the amber petals meet up with the large amber petals. (originally how I laid it out)
In the other photo the dark brown meets up with the large amber petals. (wanted to see if this was a better lay out)

Note: the striped serape you see along with part of a brown pillow and a golden yellow pillow are on our
cottage couch.

LOL Malinda I was moving fast, now I am on pause.
You are the real speedy one, remember when you
won the challenge for doing a celtic design the fastest?

SpeedyOne would be a good screen name for you.  wink

nahhhhhh, but you did all that in one sitting so now you can have it all foiled before the bevels even arrive and I may have finished that project the fastest BUT the quality wasn't there.....

I'm into fall colors this year and that goes with our new furniture!  I also prefer the greater contrast of #1.

I did opt for my first lay out.
I just wanted to compare the 2 versions.

My 19 year old son took one look at it and said you need yellow, he had a valid point so
I removed the dark brown small petal shaped pieces and replaced them with yellow.
It's quite interesting to see the difference just by switching 4 small pieces!

I also started foiling and am about 1/2 way done. Gas prices went up
a lot last night so I was thinking that for me to travel clear across the city
for 5 bevels plus meter parking just seems like wasting gas.

Side note; Our daughter who is spending the year working in London England
watches our upload and down from across the pond. When we go over our cap we get billed an
extra $30.00. She warned all of us to back off for the next 5 days...so
I will hold off on posting any photos.

Already I know I'd make another one of these using my favorite colors, so
doing a version with bevels is on my future project list. I'd have to by
more GNA purple glass anyways for that project. Guess I start a glass
supply shopping list.
