I am pretty happy with this one.  The soldering...well, I get the feeling it will be a work in progress for a while.  But I love the colors-and they are better than they show in the photo here.

I also think I am finally getting the hang of putting hangers on a piece with a minimum of hassle-I don't quite know why that has been so difficult for me.

A lotus flower would be really cool.  I really liked this pattern....I may even try it again with some slightly different colors.

Lynn, I don't see a whole lot wrong with your soldering.  Are you having fun?  That is the aim while we learn.  Very nice pattern.  Is this for you?

Beautiful and the solder looks great!  Just be sure you hang it with two chains, each going straight up.

That is because I didn't do a real close up!  Seriously, it is the thing that needs the most work (at least of the stuff I have tried).  It is getting better over time, but it is definitely where I need the most improvement.

That's okay-I am still having loads of fun with it, and it wouldn't be nearly so much fun if I didn't see where I could get better as I keep going.   grin

That's what it's all about Lynn. Everyone of us learn with every piece we do. Only with practice do we hope to improve.

I too like your piece!

I am certainly not a natural when it comes to soldering. (I read "only 1 in 9 is a natural at it")
though I have greatly improved with tons of practice.
What I've figured out is that its never good to solder when you aren't calm and relaxed.
