Very cute!  And if you don't want to tell us when you started them then I probably should add, "It's about time!!"

Mal, I am sorry to see that broken one.  Suction cups are like that too: on one day and off another.

Yeah...thanks Wayne...I know when I use them it's at my own risk and a very bad habbit to get into. All I can do is laugh about it though and say oh well, at least I know how to fix it :)

Love the butterflies --

how about I mail you the one I broke so you can repair two at the same time -- I have the replacement pieces cut out already, just need to grind them and wash the foil residue off the 2 pieces that didn't break... I used the orange and red version of the glass your broken one was done in....

I have never had suction cups that held no matter what was advertised. It is unfortunate, as they are so handy for many uses.

Thanks for the oil on the suction cup tip!  I may try it.....I don't like to use them, or give them with suncatcher sales, but lots of folks ask for them

I know Annabelle.  I get asked for them too, but I also tell people that if they're prepared to spend money on glass why would they want to hang their glass on something that isn't stable. I recommend putting small cup hooks into the top of the window.  They can usually be screwed into the top of the window and no one sees them.  Much safer!
