My wife poured hot liquid into a clear glass picture. Well, it cracked. The crack is about 1" long, horseshoe shaped. The picture has some sentimental value to it. What would be the best way to attempt to fix it? Would windshield repair glue work? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Post a photo and better define what a glass photo is. Any glue you use could damage the "photo"

My bad. It is a glass pitcher. Like one would use for holding liquids. That is why hot liquid was poured into it.

Why? because the chemical composition of most glues is toxic

The windshield glue will probably work. You can NEVER use the pitcher again
Why? the glue bond wii degrade with liquids, especially hot ones

Smarty pants! Aw, heck! Once a glass pitcher is broken the only way to fix it is to remelt it and re-blow or re-mold it. Rebecca

That's not going to be ready for mixing martinis at 5:00, huh. I think we should just put silk flowers in the pitcher and grab a beer. Rebecca
